He should still be with us. Love or hate him, he should still be with us. Senseless that he isn’t. Senseless. From One of L.A.’s birth sons from Inglewood High ,who we had to cheer for with the dreaded Boston Celtics, Paul Pierce: “…it’s changed me….I never had a relationship with my father. This prompted me to ask my mom if she could make that happen.” Kobe couldn’t suffer fools. Kobe’s tragic death helped Paul open up and allow warmth to come into the chilled place in his heart. He’s learned from this tragedy.

Thank you Kobe for blocking Pierce, Allen, and Garnett from completely running roughshod over the league by ganging up all together on one team and dominating championships year-in and year-out. They weaseled one, but that was all. Thanks.

Once again my condolences go out to Kobe Bryant, his daughter and the Bryant Family and the Families involved in this unfortunate tragedy. My prayers go up to all 😖🙏, and I Pray that God will see everyone through in a time of of need & comfort. We all have differences within our families and our friends, just like my mother stated before she passed away give me flowers, while I'm living, because life is too Short. Kobe Bryant was Loved on and off the court, and will forever be cherished. May God continue to Strengthen, Unite, and Heal the Families, along with Support. Blessing S. 🙏

Paul Peirce don't do it… get back in a relationship with your father… sometimes it's just best not to mess with someone that had nothing to do with you becoming your own man. Best example Lamar Odom, he welcomed his drug addicted father back into his life, then his fathers negative energy attacked his positive energy, then we all saw the the almost downfall self destructiion almost early death of Lamar Odom. If someone never wanted to be in your life or fight to be in your life LEAVE THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE. When someone wants to be in your life, they do everything they can to let you know they are there for you.

I have to agree that Kobe’s death is different. I have never seen a world mourn a person’s death like what happened to Kobe. His death has changed many people for the better and hoping everyone can be a better person, God fearing, hard worker, great father/mother, creative and many more like Kobe.

He set the standard for not just basketball but on how to live life. He wasn’t perfect but no one is. Only one person was perfect that is recorded in history. His legacy and spirit lives on and someday, we will meet.

    God Bless,

    Mark

Shaq and Kobe are proof that you don't have to be blood to be family. I agree with what everyone else is saying about Ray, Paul, and Kevin. Patch it up like Shaq and Kobe did. Do it before it's too late. You may never get a 2nd chance.

I don't understand what Mr. Pierce means when he says that he asked his mom if she could make a relationship with his father happen. I don't understand; as a grown man he can go find and talk to his father on his own. Pierce is not 8 yrs old. Am I missing something about Pierce's remark?

Kobe wanna say thanks for the memories, the grit, the passion and for laying out there, so many injuries and proceeded to keep pushing, the made shots, the Mamba face, the championship celebrations. I never met Kobe personally, but for 20 years I cheered and felt like we grew up together. Thanks Kobe for it all. I'm a Laker and will forever be Lakers fan.
I know Kobe's HOF speech, would've been nice. Kobe was my GOAT!!!!

    Rest well Kobe Bean Bryant.
    Mamba out!!!!!

Ok so I was a rideshare driver…the Saturday night before Kobes death I picked up some SpaceX employees from Van Nuys Airport to drive them down to SpaceX in hawthorne, CA…now SpaceX in close to LAX but they said the plane couldn't land in LAX because it was so foggy…and that night was the worst fog I had ever seen while driving…i had to drive slow that night fog was street level…so if the fog was that bad on the street then must have been way worse up in the air

We have to be careful when we said God Do this or that, because if you’re a good person or believe that you do everything right that doesn’t mean that you are going to heaven or know God is a lot of other things read the Bible and you will find wisdom to understand what is the plan of God for your life. Definitely he was special and I pray for him to be resting in peace with his daughter in the arms of God. Amen 🙏

    Still can't believe he's gone
I felt like I knew him
No celebrity death has ever bothered me
    His did
    His doc MUSE is
    excellent
    It's on showtime
And there's a couple of his last interviews on showtime
No doubt he would've ended up the Lakers head coach at some point
    The guy was intelligent
    Miss that dude

hearing Paul share that honesty and emotion was so heartwarming and reassuring for me. I'm a Boston kid and diehard hoops fan, basketball gave me my first shining moments as a inwardly troubled kid, and Paul pierce has and always will be my favorite basketball player ever, and im just happy he's still in my life by being on Countdown and The Jump, etc.

**That super caffeinated promo outro by SAS jumped tone wayyy too quick
