This is a different type of article, but for the 25 posts of Rummas celebration I am doing, I am gonna need to pull some random stuff out of the hat. I feel like this is a fun-ish type of article that people will somewhat enjoy. The NFL Salary cap is 188.2 million, which divided by 53 is 3.55 million per player. However, not all 53 are starters. Anyways, lets start.

STARTERS:

I am a vertical offense, so I roll with the following formation. Basically a typical shotgun formation, QB in shotgun, RB to the right side of the QB, #1 WR and FLEX to the left, TE and #2 WR to the left.

WR——–WR———-T–G–C–G–T——TE———-WR

QB      RB

QB: Lamar Jackson

Money Owed: $2,367,913

Lamar has great throwing ability, and demolishes defenses with his running ability. Enough said.

Salary Count Calculator: $2,367,913 of 188,200,000

RB: Saquan Barkley

Money Owed: $8, 507, 659

A extremely good runner and pass-catcher, option plays with Lamar Jackson are gonna be dangerous. I can deal with the 8 million dollars, especially because we are taking a lot of high value but low cost players.

WR #1: Deandre Hopkins

Money Owed: 14,000,000

Deandre Hopkins is a receiver that can play #1, he can play slot, he plays over the middle of the field, he can go deep, he can do anything. He is very clutch as well.

WR #2: Courtland Sutton

Money Owed: $1, 865, 981

Courtland Sutton is a legit threat as a #1 receiver, he can go deep, he can run the slant, he can run the underneath route, he can do lots of things. he is also only $1, 865, 981.

Slot/WR #3: JuJu Smith Schuster

Money Owed: $1, 335, 020

JuJu is a *LEGENDARY* Wideout in the slot. That was the role he played with Antonio Brown as WR #1. With two massive targets before him, expect a lot of deep balls in one-on-one coverage.

TE: Zack Ertz:

Money Owed: $12,231,500

Zack Ertz is a extremely good blocker, which helps the option plays, and a extremely good pass-catcher.

Cost for starting QB, RB, 3 WR, TE: $40, 308, 073 of $188,200,000 (21.4% of salary cap for 11% of the roster)
