Carmelo Anthony debuted with Portland on Tuesday night and didn’t look too bad. Expectations have never been lower for 35 year old Anthony, who comes off of a year of free agency.

With Damian Lillard joining the many injured Blazers players with back spasms the opportunity to get his shot going was ripe for Anthony. Melo took 14 shots and knocked down a few 3 point shots.

Anthony also blocked a shot and grabbed 4 rebounds. Anthony was cold in the 3rd quarter missing all his shots. The Blazers gave up the game late and lost to the Pelicans 115-104. The Portland Trail Blazers fall to 5-10 on the season. Hopefully Carmelo can help this Blazers team get a few more wins in this incredibly competitive western conference.
