The rams had a great draft in many people’s opinions Taylor Rapp should not have fallen past the cowboys in round 2 which is 100% right but Jerry Jones let a great player fall to the rams, despite the rams cap space situation and the lost free agents this past year the rams do have a great team because of their drafting and this year was no exception. The Rapp pick was most likely to fill a void left by Lamarcus Joyner leaving, Darrell henderson is another great option for the rams in the back field and david long provides this team with some youth at the corner spot. Other than that they greatly improved their trenches in pick like Bobby Evan, the versatille and experience David Edwards, and a replacement to play NT in Greg Gains. The last two pick were very different in Nick Scott to give some more secondary depth but Dakota Allen late in the 7th could be a very good player. The reason for him falling this late was his bad testing apparently he ran low 4.8’s for his 40 during his pro days when he looked like a 4.5 or 4.6 type of guy on tape. Speaking of his tape he played very well at Texas Tech and the bright side for him is that there is a very big possibility that his NFL scheme will be easier on him the college which could make this pick amazing.
